Amphawa Floating Market is located on Amphawa District of Samut
Songkhram Province. Amphawa Floating Market is an afternoon floating market on
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, during 12:00 - 20:00 p.m. This market is the place
selling foods
(especially a lot of delicious seafood) and drinks, such as fried sea mussel,
noodles, coffee, sweets, etc. And you will have to eat on small wooden tables in front of those boats. At this place is surrounded by food stalls and souvenir stalls. In
every weekend, you will meet many people walking and looking for what they want to buy. You can enjoy a cosy atmosphere
and music broadcast by the community members, explore the market and local
food.
You can easily walk around the market for 2 or 3
hours and see everything calmly. In addition to food, souvenirs, spices and
clothes, there is a small temple in the surroundings which is a nice place to visit, too.
